Frequently asked Questions Q. Are these "Water" proof? A. No, however they are "Weather" proof. They come with a panel gasket and the center pole is sealed with a lubed "O" ring. The switch housings are designed to be taken apart and allow access to the contacts. Q. Can you make custom labeled switches? A. Unfortunately not at this time. Feel free to email us if think a switch should be added that we do not already have. Q. Are these Carling Contura Series Rockers? A. No. They have a completely different architecture both internally and externally. About the only thing the same is the hole they fit in is the same dimensions. The faces are hinged differently and will not fit on a carling base and the pole is a different diameter shaft as well. The lighting is wired to show switch position verse the carling switch is lit when the dash lights are turned on. |
